Ugne is an architect by profession and holds a master’s degree in Building Architecture. She set up her own studio in 2007, working mainly in interior design, specialising in commercial projects. Over the years she was entrusted with developing brand guidelines as well as the design and execution of numerous commercial outlets for various European clients, namely; more than seventy stores for a leading Swedish telecom provider, several stores for a Baltic mobile repair company, offices for a Lithuanian TV service provider and an international travel agency.
Before that, Ugne designed furniture for a leading Lithuanian company, and worked on one of the largest mixed-use residential complexes in Malta at the time.
She feels equally at home designing residential interiors, and has designed over twenty private residences. Her works have been featured in various house magazines and she has participated in number of international interior design competitions.
Ugne joined MIDA in 2019.
